Let go

She has been busy
pursuing the gold of the world
catching up on what she has missed-

Indeed
she deserves to be at par
with the achiever

At heart
a perfectionista
she sure will make the climb
accelerate, not impossible
making up for the overshot sabbatical

So when the morning text came
it wasn't so much a surprise
till she came to realize
she may have just been left behind.

By whom not only occupy her heart
but also her present and recent past,

And whose future she prayed to carve.
